Australia, Victoria. 50 kilometres from Melbourne, this is a long established cooler climate region in Australia with excellent Pinot Noirs, Chardonnays & sparkling wine being produced and over with over 3 600 hectares under vine. First plantings happening in 1838 by the Ryrie Brothers at Yering Station. The region is cooler than Bordeaux but warmer than Burgundy.
