Vino Nobile di Montepulciano

Not to be confused with Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, this great Tuscan wine is made with its own clone of Sangiovese, they create a slightly fuller bodied wine, with hints of violet and earthiness and have their own DOC laws. It ages for two years in oak barrels and then spends at least two months in bottle before being released for sale. Great value for money and the best will hold.
