Tokaji

Region
The Tokaji region is 200kms north east of Budapest, and lies around the town of Mád, on the same latitude as the Loire. A continental climate means extreme weather conditions with long hot, humid summers and extremely cold winters. The lakes around this area create a mist which aids the on set of noble rot.
