Provence

Region

France: A beautiful region using the south of France blends in its reds along with being famed for some very good dry Rosé. It has a Mediterranean climate and produces strong spicy reds. Côtes de Provence is a large region creating cheaper, well made wine.
Grape varieties used in Provence are Carigan, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, and Syrah with white Ugni Clairette and Rolle.

Famous wines: Côtes de Provence, Bandol
