Pinot Grigio

Grape
White: Is the same grape as Pinot Gris although made in a different style. It is also thought to be a mutation of Pinot Noir. It is starting to get a bad reputation for producing some bland dry whites from Italy which are high in acidty and light in body but in Friuli and the Alto Adige is can produce some great examples with notes of honey, nut and ripe citrus fruit.
