Patras

Region
Greek Island of Peloponnese: On the North Coast of this large island, you can find Patras which makes dry white wine from the Rhoditis grape and is more famed for its red sweet wine Mavrodaphne de Patras, made in the Port method, stopping fermentation at 4% and aged like Tawny Port in wood. 10-12 year aged wines can be delicious and great value for money. A Vin Doux Natural is also made here called Muscat de Patras, from the Muscat of Alexandria grape.
