RegionAustralia: Margaret River is a town in the South West of Western Australia, south of Perth, the state capital.
It produces 20 percent of the Australias premium wines even though it is one of the smallest regions. It has a number of boutique quality minded producers who make well very good wine, especially noted for their Bordeaux blends.
