The Henriot Family has been in Champagne since the 16th Century, Stanislas Henriot the current Chairman is the 12th generation to be involved in the Champagne business. In 1808, the family decided to sell their wines under the Champagne Henriot label. Now based in Reims Champagne Henriot's wines can be found in the finest restaurants, hotels and specialist wine shops around the world. The high proportion of Chardonnay is used which can vary from 40% to 60% (the average in Champagne is nearer to 30%) is an important distinctive element in the Champagne Henriot blends.
