Region: Napa Valley, California, America

Wine: 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon, SLV, Stag's Leap

Colour: Red

Grape: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon

Slight sweeter, richer fruit than the Fay vineyard, with red and black cherries, an array of sweet spices, bret again, cassis, white pepper, liquorice and cedar. Full in body, medium + ripe tannin, medium acidity and slightly more integrated than then Fay. Medium + finish. A keep thinking what else could I buy for £100 a bottle?

Food Matching: Roast red meats, duck with a cherry glaze and pork chops.
