Woooaahhh. The Waitrose website describes this as soft!! As soft as Rambos knuckles slamming into your chops. This is an absolute beast and need a good 10 years before it is approached again. Extremely tannic, rustic, full bodied, rich, dense, intense, flavours of prune, dried red fruit, pepper, cinnamon, earth, masala spices and chocolate. Soft and supple it is not.

Food Matching: Drink with red meats, and very full bodied dishes.
