Region: Bordeaux, France

Wine: 2006 Chateau Beaumont

Colour: Red

Grape: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot

A clean nose, of red and black fruits with a touch of cedar. The flavours are quite subdued with red fruits and a touch of cedar. The finish has a touch of leather, a fresh acidity and a medium length finish. The tannins were a dominant factor.
