The Wine Library Reviews
Region: Mendocino County, USA
Wine: 2007 Chardonnay, Bonterra
Colour: White
Grape: 100% Chardonnay
Bright, yellow/gold in the glass, with vanilla oak aromas, alongside ripe fruits such as melon, pineapple. It tastes a little like a vanilla, cream and fruit pudding, with the oak a little overpowering the fruit. A good, rich, well made wine at this price point, definitely one to have with food.
Food Matching: Fuller seafood, white meats in a cream sauce.
