Grape: 55% Sangiovese, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 5% Syrah

The 2005 vintage is quite good though 2004 and 2006 where better. Ruby red with rich red berry fruit, a touch of earthiness and vanilla on the nose. Acidity is a bit low but the tannins are soft and ripe, and this wine has a mid to short finish. Easy drinking.

Food Matching: A perfect partner to rustic dishes such as rich vegetable soups or roasted red meats, and salamis.
