This bright Pinot Grigio has quite intense aromas of nuts, almonds, lemons, red apples, a touch of tinned pea, asparagus and a smokiness. A world away from the commercial PG’s that find their way onto the Supermarket shelves. It’s dry, with high crisp acidity, a medium body, with a citrus, oily texture and a good length finish. This is a very good wine and could even gain some more smoke complexity in the bottle with age.

Food Matching: Cured meat, salads fish, winter vegtables.
