Wine: 2003 Sainsburys Taste the Difference Champagne

Colour: Sparkling White

Grape: Chardonnay / Pinot Noir Blend

Surprisingly dull. A little fruit and autolytic character such as biscuit and bread, with a fresh acidity cutting though. Reserved on both the nose and palate with a medium length finish. Tasted next to the NV Tescos Premier Cru which came out on top by a long way.

Food Matching: Fish, white meats, veal, good with a main meal.
