The Wine Library Reviews

Region: Champagne, France

Wine: 1998 Lason Gold Label, Brut Vintage

Grape: 47% Chardonnay, 53% Pinot Noir

The 98 once again has the trademark lively acidity, but the flavours are much more intense as this is drinking very well now. Citrus, apple, quince and honey are accompanied by lovely fresh biscuits notes and a medium + length finish.

Food Matching: Shell fish, salmon, and white meats.
