Grape: Approx. 5% Cabernet Franc, 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot

A bit more complexity than the 2004 with sweet cassis fruit, blackcurrants, black cherries, cedar, herbs, with a fresh acidity, medium high tannin, good balance and a decent length finish. A bargain for a Cru Classe Bordeaux.

Food Matching: Lamb kebabs, beef steaks, venison, rabbit in and red-wine sauce.
