Wine: 2006 Two Paddocks Pinot Noir

Owned by Sam Neill and bottled in stelvin, this Pinot offered so much on the nose with ripe cherries, currants, spices and a slight mushroom note that I get on aged Pinot. It doesn't quite deliver on the palate feeling slightly with strained. It offered red fruit with minerality and good acidity.

Food Matching: Lighter meat dishes and heartier vegatarian dishes.
