Although a branded name, they have definitely captured the potential of Hawkes Bay with this text book Syrah. Whilst being bold, as one would expect from the New World, it still possess some elegance. Deep red in the glass with a ripe plum and blackberry nose, a hint of black pepper and a lick of vanilla from the oak barrels. Good acidity helps balance this wine giving it more of a zip than its Aussie counterparts. Finishes medium long and fruity.
