Grape: 60% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon  

Tasted in Magnums. A lovely wine from a great vintage which will peak in a few years. Plums, black cherries, herbs, vanillin toasted oak and a hint of violets. This is all balanced beautifully with the acidity and tannin.

Food Matching: Game, or a hearty stews and ragus.
