Grape: 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 10% Sangiovese 

Deep, rich fruit of raspberry, cherry, blackcurrant which is very forward with a little leather and toffee. Silky but with massive tannins. Not as balanced as usual showing the heat of 2003.

Food Matching: Red meat, a roast, Bolognese, game, stews.
