Grape
White: A French work horse grape originally from the Cognac region where it is used in distillation. It has returned into wine blends recently to fill out other grapes and give value for money. If vinified badly it can be low in acid and high in alcohol but can also produce dry whites with a floral and fresh green apple flavours.
