Producer
3ème Cru Classé, from the Bordeaux appellation of St-Julien. Known in the Middle Ages under the name of Maison Noble de Lagrange Monteil. After a period in decline the estate was purchased in 1983 by the Japanese Suntory Group, who invested heavily in the land and vineyards, and have majorly turned around the quality of the wine. Cabernet Sauvignon 66%, Merlot 27%, Petit Verdot 7%. Production is normally 23,000 cases. The second wine is Les Fiefs de Lagrange.
