1ème Cru Classé, from the Bordeaux appellation of Pessac, Graves. This was the only estate outside the Medoc to be included in the 1855 classification. Jean-Philippe Delmas is Directeur d'Exploitation, Managing Director is Prince Robert of Luxembourg. Duchesse de Mouchy is general director meaning that this is the only American owned first growth. Red: Cabernet Sauvignon 45%; Merlot 37%; Cabernet Franc 18%; White: Sémillon 63%; Sauvignon Blanc 37%. Production is normally 12,000 to 15,000 cases of wine each year. The second wine is Bahans Haut-Brion.
