Aligoté
White: Aligote is similar to Chardonnay although with less body and acidity. It finds its home in Burgundy, and especially in Bourgogne Aligote (although 15% Chardonnay can be added). Aligoté wines from Burgundy command only a fraction of Chardonnay prices for growers along with the publics preference to Chardonnay has seen a decline plantings of this varietal.
